4K December 2021 - Who Framed Roger Rabbit

4K December 2021 - Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Release date: December 15

We sometimes take for granted the leaps and bounds film special effects have taken over the last 30-plus years. Upon release in 1988, Roger stunned with its seamless collision of real and animated worlds and heck, it’s still stunning today!

It’s the tale of Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins), who’s a lowly gumshoe hired by ‘toon tycoon RK Maroon to get his star act, Roger Rabbit, back in the game. Poor Rog is worried that his sweetheart Jessica – the apple of his eye, the cream in his coffee, the light of his life even – is playing patty-cake with somebody else. You see, you can do whatever you want to a toon – mash ’em, bash ’em, crash ’em – but break their heart and they’re a goner. But even more sinister things are afoot, as the mysterious Cloverleaf Industries buys up Toontown bit by bit…

If you’re a fan of classic animation then you should take another dip in this classic, which remains the only official meeting of the Warner Bros cartoon world with that of Disney. With a native 4K transfer – complete with HDR enhancement – plus an all-new Dolby Atmos soundtrack, it looks and sounds a treat. Add a full complement of extras, including an audio commentary, deleted scene, featurettes and a selection of classic Roger Rabbit shorts, and whether you have a rabbit in your pocket or not, you’ll be happy to see this release!
