Cujo, Stephen King’s terrifying tale of a mother and her young son menaced by a rabid St. Bernard, returns to DVD on September 4.

Long out of print on local home entertainment formats, Cujo will be available on DVD exclusively at JB Hi-Fi stores.

Lewis Teague’s tense and harrowing 1983 film is one of King’s favourite screen adaptations of his work, and when STACK caught up with star Dee Wallace at San Diego Comic-Con recently, we discovered it’s also her favourite among the many genre films she’s made – and that includes E.T.

“Not to make, it was hell to do!” she clarifies with a laugh. “It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I’m just really proud of my work in it. I went as far as I could go, as truthfully as I could as an actress.”
