Adrien Brody is joining the cast of Peaky Blinders for the Brit hit’s fourth season.

Filming began last week in Liverpool for the fourth instalment of the gangster saga, which follows the story of the Shelby clan in 1920s Birmingham.

No word yet on who Brody will play but we’re betting that he will be follow in the footsteps of Sam Neill and Paddy Considine in playing Peaky Blinders’ main villain.

Creator Steven Knight says: “It’s fantastic to have Adrien join our team. He genuinely was the actor in my head when I wrote the part. I’m sure he will be a formidable presence in the world of the Peaky Blinders.”

Cillian Murphy will returns as Peaky Blinders leader Thomas Shelby, with Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Joe Cole, Sophie Rundle and Finn Cole reprising their roles as other members of the clan. Tom Hardy will also be back as Jewish gang leader Alfie Solomons.
