Is sci-fi romance going to be the next big thing? Hot on the heels of Passengers comes the futuristic tearjerker The Space Between Us, a new trailer for which dropped overnight.
Asa Butterfield – whose latest film Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children has just arrived in-store – plays the first human to be born on Mars who ends up falling for his online pen pal (Britt Robertson), a street smart girl back on Earth.
The supporting cast includes Gary Oldman and Carla Cugino, while the director is Peter Chelsom (Hector & The Search For Happiness).
The Space Between Us is expected in cinemas in March.
