With Deadpool 2 having been and pretty much gone from cinemas you may have thought that all of the nutso promo had been wound up. If so, you’d have thought wrong!
There’s the home release coming, including the “Super Duper $@%!#& Cut”, which will deliver an extra 15 minutes of footage for 4K and Blu-ray buyers (and, if rumour has it, a different ending), so that promotin’ won’t be doing itself now, will it?!
Cue this weird and wonderful little promo video, featuring an animatronic Deadpool and equally animatronic friends, jamming it up to Dolly Parton’s ‘9 to 5’.
While it looks like a Five Nights at Freddy’s parody, it actually delves deeper into history, featuring homage to The Rock-afire Explosion, the animatronic house band of American fast food chain Showbiz Pizza Place, before they got replaced by Chuck E Cheese characters.
Not enough of that Rock-afire stuff? Well, here’s their backing “rehearsal” for Cee Lo Green’s Vegas tour back in 2013. We thought that the white bear was just being too cool for school, but he actually wasn’t programmed for this song.
Still not enough? OK then, have some Fall Out Boy!
