We all have our favourite high school movies, and as they’re almost all based in the USA we found them quite different to the Aussie experience. So, what do two young Americans think of scenes from some of their homegrown classics?

In the video below from the fine folk at Vulture, two modern day high school students dissect scenes from TV’s Freaks and Geeks, along with the movies Clueless, Bring It On, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Freaky Friday, John Tucker Must Die, Mean Girls, Never Been Kissed and The Breakfast Club.

Covering such topics as cliques, detention, security and gym (or, as we used to know it, phys-ed), we find out once and for all whether things are exaggerated in movies or not.

You probably don’t have to be too edumacated to know the answer…
