We caught up with Kiwi actor and director, Taiki Waititi, to discuss his edgy new World War II satire, JoJo Rabbit.
The film follows a lonely German boy named JoJo (newcomer Roman Griffin Davis), whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.
Jojo Rabbit is in theatres nationwide on December 26th, 2019. Check your local cinema for advanced screenings.
