Hugh Jackman headlines the new sci-fi action-thriller Reminiscence, the feature directorial debut of Westworld co-creator Lisa Joy and co-starring Rebecca Ferguson and Thandiwe Newton.

Jackman plays Nick Bannister, a private investigator of the mind, who navigates the darkly alluring world of the past by helping his clients access lost memories. But when he takes on a new client, Mae (Ferguson), a simple assignment becomes a dangerous obsession when he uncovers a deadly conspiracy.

STACK caught up with Hugh Jackman, Thandiwe Newton and Lisa Joy to discuss the film and the elusive nature of memory.

Reminiscence is in cinemas (where open) on August 19.
