With winter here you need things to do inside. Tomb Raider (2018)
Release date: June 20
Video game heroine Lara Croft gets the reset treatment, as Alicia Vikander steps into her sturdy go-anywhere (re)boots. This one’s a stunning full 4K adventure experience, with both standard HDR and also Dolby Vision enhancement that really brings everything from the jungles and beyond to brilliant life. Red Sparrow
Release date: June 6
Black Swan meets Atomic Blonde – just with a little more talk and a little less action – in this suspenseful sortie into subterfuge starring Jennifer Lawrence as a Russian ballet dancer turned spy. Having sampled its delights in 4K Ultra HD, its pure 4K transfer is transfixing, while its Dolby Atmos soundtrack is worth coming in from the cold for. Get down with our original movie review here.
Grease: 40th Anniversary Edition
Release date: June 13
Summer lovin’… erm, maybe if we head a long way north? Still, what better way to warm up than by bouncing along with Livvy and John in this classic movie musical, looking better than we’ve ever seen it before with a full HDR/Dolby Vision-enhanced 4K transfer? Sound pumps out via a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 track, so while you won’t be divebombed from above by the likes of Greased Lightning, you’ll still have a real swell listening experience. Jurassic Park Trilogy

Dino-mite! All three of the original Jurassic Park movies hit 4K Ultra HD in June, and all of them with full 4K transfers and new DTS:X sound mixes. You can grab all three flicks in a handy triple pack, or buy them individually – and if you plump for the latter option, you may wish to get into JB Hi-Fi quick for their exclusive steelbooks. Jurassic World

The Incredibles
Release date: June 13
Monumental because it’s one of the great Pixar flicks, and also because its Disney’s first foray into releasing their back catalogue in 4K, the 2004 superhero action cartoon smashed onto 4K Ultra HD via an upscaled HDR-infused 2K transfer with a shiny new Dolby Atmos soundtrack attached, darlings. Mamma Mia!

Can you hear the drums? Actually, you won’t hear Fernando, but most every other ABBA classic is shoehorned into this bright and shiny, star-studded movie take on the smash hit musical of the same name. With an upscaled 2K transfer (including HDR) plus a new DTS:X soundtrack and director’s commentary, will it be worth laying down your money, money, money, honey, honey and saying “Gimme! Gimme! Peter Rabbit

Beatrix Potter’s fine furry friends go potty in this update of the legendary tale that brings the lot of them kicking and screaming into the 21st century, while still giving loving nods to its heritage.
