4K Ultra HD system demo of the month
Aquaman
Release date: April 17
Jason Momoa’s revitalisation of the once slightly wussy aquatic DC superhero slammed onto 4K with both Dolby Vision and standard HDR enhancement. Despite being a film that was finished at 2K, this looks magnificent on 4K Ultra HD – especially in the many instances where the screen opens up for full IMAX effect at home. If the vision isn’t enough to wow you, then the booming Dolby Atmos sound mix is sure to win you over. It’s a playful affair that really goes to town with the surround effects – especially when we’re underwater. Dart into JB Hi-Fi for their cool exclusive steelbook edition, and read our movie review here.
