Writer/director Todd Phillips has revealed a script – or, at the very least, the cover for one – for a sequel to his 2019 cinematic take on DC’s Joker.

Entitled Joker: Folie à Deux – which, if memories of high school French serves us correctly translates to ‘Joker: Madness for Two’ – it’s once again been penned by Phillips and Scott Silver, judging by one of two images that Phillips shared on Instagram. The second image is a black and white shot of star of the show Joaquin Phoenix reading the script – or reading something.

Joker: Folie à Deux

Putting on our research hat, according to Wikipedia ‘Folie à Deux’ is “also known as shared psychosis or shared delusional disorder (SDD)”, and “is a psychiatric syndrome in which symptoms of a delusional belief, and sometimes hallucinations, are transmitted from one individual to another.” Ooh, does this suggest a bit of upcoming Harley Quinn action in this particular DC universe?

That’s about it for news on the sequel to the double Oscar-winning Joker at the moment. Hopefully more will be revealed soon.
