Serial-killing pig shooter Mick Taylor, played by iconic Aussie actor John Jarratt, is set to return in Wolf Creek 3.
The third film in the homegrown horror franchise will begin shooting later this year, with Mick this time targeting an American family holidaying in the outback.
Wolf Creek 3 will be directed by Rachele Wiggins from a screenplay by Duncan Samarainghe, with the director of the first two films, Greg McLean, onboard as a producer.
“We couldn’t be more excited about the creative team we’ve assembled to create the next chapter in the Wolf Creek franchise,” said McLean in a statement. “Duncan’s compelling, suspense-filled script combined with Rachele’s exciting directorial vision for the film will deliver a horror rollercoaster ride sure to delight genre fans around the world.”
