As many will already know, 1988’s Young Guns was a star-studded cowboy affair that spawned a sequel in 1990. Now, 31 years later, a threequel’s comin’ to town.
We’re not sure whether they’ll be able to get away with using the word “young” in that there title department, but word is that the writer of the originals, John Fusco, and Emilio Estevez is working at getting the band back together for another showdown.
How do we know this? Take a gander at the tweet just below this here sentence…
Emilio Estevez and I are excited to be collaborating on this continuation of the Billy the Kid saga – and you’re going to love where it goes @LouDPhillips @RealKiefer @ChristianSlater @EW @headgeek666 @vincentdonofrio @prattprattpratt @regulator pic.twitter.com/IOrTmULDOf

It’s interesting to see Chris Pratt tagged there, who would have been nine when the original came out. Casting hint, or red herring? More news when we done got it (and when we stop typing in stupid cowboy speak).
