We have another musical biopic to add to the list of those incoming, as honorary Aussie trio The Bee Gees have entered the fray.

Bohemian Rhapsody producer Graham King is behind the idea, according to Deadline.

Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb first found success as kids in Queensland, after their family emigrated from the UK. After a string of harmony-laden hits in the 1960s, they entered the 1970s and flailed a bit. That was until Saturday Night Fever – and Barry’s falsetto – came along, and the rest is high-pitched, white-clad, disco beat history.

The rights have been bought for all the classic songs, and the hunt is on for a writer.

So, who do you think should be cast as Barry, Maurice and Robin?
