There’s a lot of Batman already on 4K Ultra HD, and now the Caped Crusader movies of the ’80s and ’90s are heading to the format.

Tim Burton’s Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992), along with Joel Schumacher’s Batman Forever and Batman & Robin, are down for a June release.

It’s all a part of the 80th birthday of Batman celebrations, and we’ll be getting them in Australia on June 5 as four individual releases. A box set is planned for later release overseas, but we have no confirmation as yet as to whether we’ll see that here.

The best news? All four films have bene remastered in native 4K, and all of them will come with bat-tastic new Dolby Atmos audio tracks.

Here’s the rather retro cover art – what do you think?
