The Belko Experiment, originally slated for DVD release on August 16 August – and reviewed in the latest issue of STACK – has been postponed.

Written by Guardians of the Galaxy‘s James Gunn and directed by Wolf Creek‘s Greg McLean, this cult-film-in-waiting chronicles a sadistic experiment in which the employees of a Colombian corporation are forced to slaughter their co-workers in a Battle Royale-like bloodbath.

Our review had already made it into print in the August issue of STACK prior to receiving news of the delay, and if you ask for it at JB Hi-Fi this month, they can’t help you.

A new release date has yet to be announced, but in the meantime you can catch it at the Melbourne International Film Festival on August 12 and 16.
