There’s a lot of excitement for Bill & Ted Face the Music – but will it be able to live up to expectations?
Well, we sure hope so, as we reckon the world could use some of that Wyld Stallyns peace and love right about now.
With the movie due to hit in August 2020, we’ll see Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter reprising their most legendary roles, but as parents. They’re also still trying to nail that elusive smash song that will see them fulfil their destiny.
It looks like something wild may have happened with the historical babes, as our excellent pair each have a daughter – Bill’s Thea and Ted’s Billie. Aww! They’re played, respectively, by Aussie Samara Weaving (Hugo’s niece) and Brigette Lundy-Paine (TV’s Atypical).
Kid Cudi will be playing himself, William Sadler will return as Death and Kristen Schaal will play Kelly, the guys’ new guide to all things time travel (George Carlin, who played Rufus, died in 2008).
The new story comes from original writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, while Dean Parisot, who gave us the excellent Galaxy Quest, is directing.
