TV police procedural Bosch is set to end after its upcoming seventh season, but good news is that it’s also set to live on.
Series stars Titus Welliver, Mimi Rogers and Madison Lintz are set to reprise their various roles in a spinoff series.
It doesn’t have a title yet, however the new series will apparently see Bosch (Welliver) working with attorney and frequent sparring partner Honey Chandler (Rogers).
The same creative types who brought us Bosch will be behind this one.
Says Welliver of the news: “To say I am ecstatic is an understatement. To be given the opportunity to tell more Harry Bosch stories is a tremendous gift. The process of shooting season seven with the shadow of it being our final loomed heavily so when the idea was presented to continue with the possibility of a spinoff, without hesitation I said, ‘Let’s go.’ To all of our Bosch fans, thank for your incredible support for all these years and I can promise you the ride will only get better.”
If you’ve not had the pleasure, Bosch is a wonderfully gritty cop show set in Los Angeles and based on the Harry Bosch series of novels by Michael Connelly. Here’s a quick look at the first season:
