After more than a decade, The Walking Dead is winding up – but it’s hardly going out with a whimper (or even a half-hearted zombie groan).
The final season has been split into three parts, and the second of these is set to air quite soon.
Here’s the official word on the final season: “The Walking Dead returns with many of our heroes fighting imminent hellfire under Reaper attack; while others battle Mother Nature’s torrential wrath in Alexandria. For all, their world is literally crashing down around them. Meanwhile, life in the Commonwealth is not as idyllic as it seems. For some, hope will be renewed. Others will be pushed past the point of no return. One truth holds tight: lives hang in the balance with each decision drastically changing their future, their chances of survival, and the state of each community.”
The second part out of three that comprise the final season of The Walking Dead airs from February 20.
Once it winds up it’s hardly the end, as spinoff shows continue, with a new one based around Carol ‘n’ Daryl also in the works, and a plan for a movie trilogy featuring Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes.
It likely goes without saying, but we have to say it: FULL-ON VIOLENCE WARNING:
