The incomparable Charlotte Rampling stars in upcoming New Zealand dramatic dark comedy Juniper.
She plays a “gin-soaked” woman who, to her “self-destructive” teenaged grandson’s surprise upon returning home, has moved in. This kicks off a battle of wills “which enables him to embrace life again, and her to face her own mortality.”
Juniper also stars Marton Csokas, Geotge Ferrier and Edith Poor, and is set to hit New Zealand cinemas in late August. We await confirmation of an Australian release date. Here’s a first trailer:
