A teaser for the upcoming slice of the real-life of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, Being the Ricardos, has arrived.

The movie, written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, stars Nicole Kidman as the much-loved comedy genius Lucy, and Javier Bardem as her hubby, Desi.

The cast doesn’t stop there, with J.K. Simmons, Tony Hale, Nina Arianda, Alia Shawkat, Tony Hale and Clark Gregg all joining in on the fun.

Here’s one of the scarce clear looks at Kidman as Lucy, recreating Ball’s famous grape stomping sketch.

Being the Ricardos

The official blurb reads like this: “Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz are threatened by shocking personal accusations, a political smear and cultural taboos in Academy Award-winning writer and director Aaron Sorkin’s behind-the-scenes drama Being the Ricardos. A revealing glimpse of the couple’s complex romantic and professional relationship, the film takes audiences into the writers’ room, onto the soundstage and behind closed doors with Ball and Arnaz during one critical production week of their groundbreaking sitcom I Love Lucy.”

Being the Ricardos is set for a brief cinematic release in December, at least overseas, before wider release later that month. Take a quick look:
