Almost two years to the day, Beatrix Potter’s much-loved wascally wabbit is bounding back into cinemas in Peter Rabbit 2.

James Corden once again gives voice to Beatrix Potter’s revered children’s literature bunny, and is joined by the likes of Margot Robbie, Daisy Ridley and Elizabeth Debicki as other characters. Again, Rose Byrne and Domhnall Gleeson play the real-world roles of Bea and Thomas.

This outing sees Peter unable to shake his roguish reputation at home, so he ventures out into the wider world. Here he discovers that his mischievous powers are more appreciated, and he’s soon busy putting them to great effect – as well as seemingly emulating a famous video clip by The Verve. Will he return to his family, or make it on his own?

Animation duties have once again been performed by Animal Logic.

Peter Rabbit 2 is due in Australian cinemas on March 19, 2020. Here’s the new teaser trailer:
