Many have been wondering where Edgar Wright would head movie-wise following Baby Driver. It turns out that he’s planning a horror flick.

If you’re thinking that it’ll be along the lines of his “romzomcom” Shaun of the Dead, however, you may be disappointed – although it will be set in London.

Wright has told Empire that it will be a “straight-up psychological horror/thriller”, influenced by the likes of 1973’s Don’t Look Now and the 1965 Roman Polanski flick Repulsion. It’s set to feature a female lead character.

If a trip into full-on horror doesn’t float your boat, you may at least find it heartening to hear that a first draft of a script for a Baby Driver sequel “exists”.
