The success of Stranger Things has thrust many a young star into the spotlight, in particular Millie Bobby Brown. She now has a huge new project in the works.
At the mere age of 13 she’s set to both produce (via her own production company) and star in a new series of movies involving Sherlock Holmes’ little sister, Enola. Darn, we could barely stand up without having to think about it at that age!
To be based upon Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mysteries series of six novels, there’s plenty of scope for a franchise here. With the drawing power of Sherlock Holmes added to a more youthful sleuth-ful outlook, could we have found the next Harry Potter?
Meanwhile, Brown will make her big screen debut in the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the 35th flick in the long-running Godzilla saga. She’ll be alongside a stellar cast that includes Sally Hawkins, Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds and Zhang Ziyi.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters is currently scheduled for a March 21, 2019 release in Australia.
Meanwhile, here’s a trailer for the 2014 Godzilla, the first in the now ongoing Legendary Pictures ‘MonsterVerse’ (Kong: Skull Island was the second)…
