A live action movie take on the adventures of kid sensation Dora the Explorer has been coming for a while, and it’s almost here in the form of Dora and The Lost City of Gold.
A first-look trailer has arrived, and it appears to be channelling similar waters to the likes of Tomb Raider and National Treasure, but with a slightly younger skewing.
The cast is fairly impressive, with Isabella Moner as Dora – again, as she once voiced her in one of the cartoon series – alongside the likes of Michael Peña, Eva Longoria, Benicio Del Toro, Temuera Morrison and Danny Trejo. The latter voicing monkey Boots. Really.
Dora and the Lost City of Gold is expected to release somewhere around August this year.
