The Arkham series has probably one of the best sound designs I've heard. The soundtrack is so empowering and the batmobile sounds amazing
Depends. GTA has always had the best radio station music. Doom has the best metal soundtrack, and recently, Art of Rally has had a great 80s vibe to fit the rally atmosphere.
Bioshock, hands down. Every creak, every drip, every unearthly scream... the sound editing is just out of this world.
Journey Indie Adventure Game - changes tone and intensity in response to the our action cello and other sounds as the game progresses, takes my breath away
Love the audio on Jedi: Fallen Order, the sounds of the lightsaber and force powers 👌
Persona 5 has the best soundtrack. Persona 5 not only surprised the world by the game itself but also the music. You can’t help be addicted to once you hear it!! You surprisingly do a dance while you play. The Phantom Thieves really steals the heart of the players through their music
OMG Grand Theft Auto's radio stations without a doubt.. some bangin' tunes for banging into pedestrians 💥
Pretty much any GTA game but my pick would be GTA Vice City.
Witcher 3 will always have a the best soundtrack but also GTA has the best radio station music Zachary Martin
My vote goes to one of the best games of 2020: Ghost of Tsushima (pictured is the soundtrack on vinyl). The music by Ilan Eshkeri truly engulfs the player in the setting of feudal Japan. In creating the score, Eshkeri studied alongside masters of traditional Japanese music to make it sound as authentic as possible, and uses instruments that featured heavily during the period. Many of the tracks are intense and emotive, particularly Lady Masako's theme which is filled with raw emotion. Not only that, but the 3D sound design allows you to pinpoint enemies based on audio alone, which is incredibly helpful during stealthy gameplay. Being able to tell if an enemy is walking behind you or off in the distance is not only immersive, but allows you to play more efficiently.
Playing Resident Evil VII with my old headphones was terrifying, as every footstep and creak from the house had me filling pants. I'd love (/hate?) to experience that with a headset that is not ten years old.
I have no idea, but I'm visiting my son soon and his gaming set up is in the spare bedroom, where I'll be sleeping. I need these so I can't here anything
Witcher 3 will always have a phenomenal soundtrack, I've never played a game that could evoke such emotion purely from it's soundtrack!
Final Fantasy XIV, not just the music design, but the overall sound design of the entire world.
The mass effect series. The music just fits the feel of the games so well and some of the sound effects are just amazing.
Outer wilds without a doubt. It’s soothing but knowledgeable music calms but frightens you all at once. Outer wilds is the soundtrack as much as it is the game
Hades sound track is beyond beautiful, nothing like godly songs to sooth the soul as I die endlessly to Meg, because I'm a noob.
Doom soundtrack... Easily one of the best for a game ever
Serious Sam, I like having that soundtrack stuck in my head. The enemy sound designs rock! Ah!
Quake for sure! Takes me back to playing with friends/class mates on the Uni network.
Bioshock! The Audio brings shivers to my bones
Doom. So cool and full on. Love it. 🥳❤️🎶
Bioshock great sounds
Ghost of Tsushima has an immersive soundtrack that brings the game to life as the adventure story unfolds with sophisticated next level sound ambience concepts.
Not the game itself, but simply for the sounds, Fall Guys lol, so ridiculous!!
