The classic tale Father of the Bride has been rebirthed for the 21st century, and will be walking down the aisle on our screens fairly shortly.

The original released back in 1950, starring Spencer Tracy and Liz Taylor, and was based on the novel of the same name penned by Edward Streeter. Then, of course, there was the 1991 take that really played for laughs with Steve Martin and Diane Keaton.

This one stars Andy Garcia and Gloria Estefan as the parents of the bride, along with Adria Arjona, Diego Boneta, Isabela Merced, Enrique Murciano, Macarena Achaga, Ana Fabrega and Chloe Fineman.

The updated take on the classic story is set to go a little like this: “Billy and Ingrid are surprised when their eldest daughter Sofia comes home to Miami for a visit, announcing a new boyfriend, Adan — who is now her fiancé — and their plans for a wedding and a new life together in Mexico. Family relationships are tested as the roller coaster ride of wedding planning races toward the altar. This sparkling story of a modern rom-com updated from a timeless classic illustrates the surprising and funny ways the heart can adapt in the name of love.”

Father of the Bride has been set for a June 16 release. Here’s the trailer:
