A “final” trailer has dropped for the latest JK Rowling cinematic tale Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

The author isn’t one for succinct titles, is she?

This episode of the adventures of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) sees the heroic magizoologist hunting for dark wizard Grindelwald, amidst a developing war between magic types and Muggles.

As well as the return of Redmayne as Newt, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller and Zoë Kravitz are all back for more, along with Johnny Depp as Grindelwald. Plus, Jude Law as the young Albus Dumbledore!

This trailer is rated ‘S’ for snakes – an interesting turn of events as it happens, for it’s been revealed that the Maledictus character played by Claudia Kim is none other than Nagini, who Harry Potter fans will know rather well.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will bring its magic to Australian cinemas on November 15.
