No, we’re not super-belatedly jumping on the Imagine bandwagon, rather Gal Gadot has signed on to play Snow White’s Evil Queen in Disney’s next foray into live action remakes.

Gadot is sorting out the final details of taking on the role of the character in a live action take on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which was the stomping ground for the first ever animated Disney villain. The news comes via Deadline.

It was way back in 1937 that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs kicked off Disney’s animated feature canon, and we all got to squeal, “Boo! Hiss!” at the nasty old not-the-fairest-one-of-all-anymore. Or maybe that was just us…

Anyway, her propensity for nastiness once earned the Evil Queen a place as the tenth greatest movie villain of all time, as voted by the American Film Institute. That’s one evil chick!

While Gadot is set to get her nasty on, Rachel Zegler (Spielberg’s upcoming West Side Story remake) will be playing Snow White, while Benj Pasek and Justin Paul of La La Land and The Greatest Showman fame have signed on to write new songs for the film.

While we wait, it’s time for a bit of classic “Heigh-ho!”:
