The Evil Dead legend Bruce Campbell is set to put the fictional ghoulies on hold for a dose of real life ones in a new take on Ripley’s Believe It or Not!.
The series has spanned some 100 years now, beginning as a newspaper regular before going on the radio and then hitting TV screens in 1949, hosted by Mr Robert L. Ripley himself. Since then, other incarnations have been hosted by the likes of Jack Palance and Dean Cain.
The show presents occurences that are often so strange and unusual that those reading/listening/watching may do so in utter disbelief.
Campbell and his wild sense of humour seems the perfect fit for a relaunch, and the show’s first 10 one-hour episodes are set to hit mid-2019.
