The upcoming Star Wars universe Han Solo movie that didn’t have a name now has a name.
Deviating only slightly from the working title of ‘A Star Wars Story’ it will be known as Solo: A Star Wars Story. It’s a sensible title.
Ron Howard dropped the news via a short Twitter vid, in which he also let it be known that the film has wrapped production.

The movie, now helmed by Howard after The LEGO Movie team of Christopher Miller and Phil Lord got the Stormtrooper boot, sees Alden Ehrenreich as the classic Harrison Ford character, while Donald Glover morphs into Lando Calrissian. It tells of Solo and his hairy mate Chewbacca’s adventures before joining the Rebellion.
Emilia Clarke, Paul Bettany, Thandie Newton, Woody Harrelson and Warwick Davis also star, and as it became a Ron Howard thing, his little brother Clint was also shoehorned into the cast.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is set for release in 2018.
