While Hollywood types can’t wait for the Oscar nominations, they usually have no problem waiting for the Razzie nods. But still they come…

The Razzies – or Golden Raspberries – acknowledge all that their voters consider the most fetid cinematic swill of the year, and to their credit several actors – including Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock and Dwayne Johnson – have previously owned their less than stellar call-ups.

This years noms bear few surprises, and take a political slant thanks to the release of a couple of documentaries in Death of a Nation and Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 11/9. US President Donald Trump gets a nod as worst actor, which would be his second Razzies “triumph” should he win, as he already nabbed a “Worst Supporting Actor” nod back in 1989 for a little movie named Ghosts Can’t Do It.

As for those who play Aussie-Watch, the Spierig brothers are in the running for ‘Worst Screenplay’ and ‘Worst Director’ for Winchester (and even Dame Helen Mirren isn’t immune, as she’s been nominated for her performance in that very movie).

Those hanging for the Oscars nominations don’t have much longer to be suspended, as we’ll have them for you tomorrow. In the interim, here are all the Razzie nominees:
