One of those now seemingly obligatory “final” trailers has arrived for Ghostbusters: Afterlife, giving us an ever-so-teensy hint of Bill Murray.
There isn’t much in the way of new footage, although we do see the return of a couple of classic ghoulies, but as we have to wait so long to see it here in Australia any footage is good footage, right? Right? Erm, well we think it is.
We’re sure you know all about it by now, that the much-anticipated movie brings a generational baton change both onscreen and off – original director Ivan Reitman’s son Jason helms this one – with plenty of nods to the classic, and the odd cameo from original stars such as Annie Potts and Dan Aykroyd. Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and Paul Rudd are the main stars.
Now – as if there was any doubt – we can add Bill Murray to the list of returning original Ghostbusters. We’d know that voice anywhere!
While it releases much earlier in overseas markets, Ghostbusters: Afterlife isn’t slated for release here until January 1, 2022. Grumble, grumble. Anyway, final trailer go now:
