The musical comedy film formerly known as Untitled Danny Boyle/Richard Curtis Project is now called Yesterday, and we have a trailer for it.

The premise is simple: imagine a world without The Beatles having ever existed.

Well, only one person knows that they existed, which ends up coming in quite handy in the whole finding fame and glory stakes. But how would you feel knowing that you’re a sham, and what other costs might it all have?

This isn’t the first time that Curtis has done the ’60s musical comedy thing, with the underrated The Boat That Rocked also in his canon.

Yesterday stars¬†Eastenders’ Himesh Patel, along with Lily James and comedy goddess Kate McKinnon. Ed Sheeran also features, and the trailer’s worth watching even more for a great burn that’s delivered to him.

Yesterday is set to light up Australian cinemas later in 2019, probably June.
