A second trailer has sashayed in for the upcoming Ridley Scott take on the story of famous Italian fashion house Gucci, aptly named House of Gucci.

It’s inspired by the true tale of the family empire as told in Sara Gay Forden’s book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed, and is set to span three decades of “love, betrayal, decadence, revenge, and ultimately murder”.

The impressive cast includes Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Salma Hayek, Camille Cottin, Jack Huston, Jeremy Irons, Mãdãlina Ghenea, Reeve Carney and Youssef Kerkour.

Having originally been set for a November release, House of Gucci is now set to open in Australian cinemas on January 1, 2022.

Even though the movie is set in the mid-’90s, the first trailer established its cool music credentials with a fab chop up of Blondie’s 1978 smash Heart of Glass. This one does it to Eurythmics’ 1983 pop masterpiece Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This):
