A few years back there was Scream: The TV Series. It then disappeared, It is, however, coming back soon.

Given quite a bit of a rejig during its absence, a new trailer has dropped and it looks pretty cool. It also features that classic mask for the first time in the series.

Original movie director Wes Craven was involved in the series in an executive producer capacity, and this time around Roger Jackson returns voicing creepy old Ghostface. This third season will also star the likes of Mary J. Blige, Keke Palmer, Tyler Posey, Tyga, CJ Wallace and Paris Jackson.

This six-episode “event” series will revolve around football star Deion Elliot, “whose tragic past comes back to haunt him and threaten his hard-earned plans for the future… and the lives of his unlikely group of friends.”

While it starts airing next week in the US, we await a local scheduling.
