As we say goodbye to both Game of Thrones and Gotham this year, a star of the former is set to enter the universe of the latter in Titans.
The series, which stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin, is basically a live action version of Teen Titans, but they’re a little less teen, a little more adult.
According to Deadline, now Iain Glen, whom many will know as GoT‘s Jorah Mormont, is set to enter the show’s forthcoming second season playing Bruce Wayne. Apparently, he will be out to try to rekindle his relationship with his once ward, Grayson.
The producers have released an official description of the role, and it goes a lot like this: “After decades of fighting crime as Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson, the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success”.
Season two of Titans is scheduled for the second half of 2019.
