For some, 1974’s Black Christmas is one of the best seasonal flicks out there. Now it’s time for the remake treatment, courtesy of the Blumhouse people.

It isn’t the first revisiting of the tale, either, with another remake having appeared back in 2006. Bing Crosby would be having nightmares.

Anyway, this one stars Imogen Poots as a Hawthorne College Mu Kappa Epsilon member who, along with three sorority sisters, faces up to a black-masked stalker who’s killing sorority women one by one.

Cary Elwes also stars in Black Christmas, which is set to darken Australian cinemas from December 13.
