Together they introduced us to each other with many a bang, now Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie are set to team again for a new action movie.
The actor and the director who gave us the rollicking good time actioners Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch are set to collaborate on a remake of early ’00s French flick Le Convoyeur.
According to Deadline, it’s a revenge-based action thriller that revolves around a character known simply as H. He works at a company that trucks hundreds of millions of dollars around LA each week… and we can probably guess much of the rest.
“I’m looking forward to bringing this story to life and working with Jason while he still has the use of his knees,” quipped Ritchie.
The currently untitled film will follow Ritchie’s 2020-bound The Gentlemen, which is a London-set gangster flick that looks quite reminiscent of the films that gave him his start.
