HBO are bringing us a new series set in the world of televangelism, entitled The Righteous Gemstones.
Not surprisingly, it will pack a killer cast, starring John Goodman, Danny McBride and Adam Devine as the titular TV religious types. They’re “a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed and charitable work. ”
But it isn’t a documentary series…
It’s from the same team as Eastbound & Down and Vice Principals, and looks like it will be an absolute hoot. We especially love the names of their three aircraft.
