Jude Law will star in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, a new series from the creators of Spider-Man: No Way Home

Along with the big Indiana Jones 5 image reveal at the recent Star Wars celebration event, news of Law’s casting in the series was met with excitement from fevered fans.

The new series is being developed by director Jon Watts and writer Christopher Ford, who made Spider-Man: Homecoming together (Watts also directed Far from Home and No Way Home), and during a panel at the celebration event it was also revealed that the story would take place in the New Republic era, focusing on a group of kids lost in the galaxy, who are trying to find their way home.

This news confirms the long-circulating rumours of Law’s involvement in the Star War franchise and is said to throwback to the type of coming-of-age adventures made in the eighties. No further details have been given, but one thing is for sure and that is that Star Wars fans have a lot to look forward to.
