For somebody who’s allegedly been trying to get out of action flicks, Liam Neeson is doing his damnedest to keep moving – this time in The Ice Road.
He’s joined by Laurence Fishburne, in a tale that’s been directed and written by Jonathan Hensleigh, who also co-penned the scripts for Jumanji and Armageddon.
The plot? Here goes: “After a remote diamond mine collapses in far northern Canada, a ‘big-rig’ ice road driver (Neeson) must lead an impossible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the trapped miners. Contending with thawing waters and a massive storm, they discover the real threat is one they never saw coming.”
