A bunch of upcoming Marvel stuff was unveiled at the weekend’s big Disney D23 shindig. Here’s a quick round-up of what’s worth knowing.

Movie-wise, the Ryan Coogler-directed Black Panther II – possibly not the final title – has been dated, and is set to hit screens on May 6, 2022.

In other Marvel movie news, Kit Harington needs something to do now that Game of Thrones has wrapped, so it comes as no huge surprise that he’ll be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’ll be hooking up with the likes of Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek and Gemma Chan in The Eternals. There’s no super for him though, as he’ll be portraying non-Eternal character Dane Whitman.

With Disney+ happening soon, there’s a flurry of Marvel activity on the televisual side of things. Joining recent San Diego Comic-Con announcements Hawkeye, Loki, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision will be new series based around Moon Knight, Ms Marvel and She-Hulk. With all this action they’ll likely run out of actors and will have to start recycling soon!
