¡Cuidado! A live action Dora the Explorer movie is in the works – and Michael Bay is producing it.

Directorial and writing duties have been handed over to Nicholas Stoller, who wrote the script for the super-fun Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie and directed the animated Storks (which wasn’t nearly as bad as some may have had you believe).

If you’re not up with seven-year-old Dora and her explorational adventures, just ask any little girl (or enlightened little boy) about her. Or, we can at least tell you that the animated marketing juggernaut ran for 14 years, amassing 172 episodes.

Deadline reports that the movie will focus on Dora as a teenager, and what happens when she moves to the city to live with her cousin Diego.

We guess they’re counting on all of those little girls having grown up somewhat in recent years. But will teenagers still hold a torch for their once beloved Dora?
