Kenneth Branagh’s take on Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile is finally set to hit cinema screens in February. Want a few hints as to what’s going to happen?

It follows up his rather fun 2017 mystery excursion Murder on the Orient Express, and was originally set for a 2020 release until you-know-what happened.

Branagh steps back into the roles of both director and Hercule Poirot. Alongside him is a stellar cast that includes Tom Bateman, Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders and Letitia Wright.

Yes, it’s also a French and Saunders reunion!

If you’re unfamiliar with the tale, Poirot is off on an Egyptian getaway aboard a river steamer, but it turns into a working holiday when a murder takes place.

Death on the Nile is happening in Australian cinemas from February 10.
