If, like us, you grew up with AA Milne’s wondrous tales of Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh and his Hundred Acre Wood friends, then you’ll likely be keen beans to see more of Disney’s upcoming Christopher Robin.

The House of Mouse has just dropped two new looks at the production, in the form of a “sneak peek” and a featurette with cast and crew interviews.

The story of the live action (with effects, obviously) sees Master Robin all grown up as Mr. Robin (Ewan McGregor), and laden with all of those family and work responsibilities that you get as an adult. However, one day he runs into his childhood pal, Pooh, and is asked to help the bear find his lost friends. How can he refuse?

While here’s the featurette…

Christopher Robin is set to delight Australian cinema audiences when it opens here on September 13.

In other Pooh news, the original map drawing of the Hundred Acre Wood from the first Winnie the Pooh book was just sold at a Sotheby’s auction for almost US$600,000. That could have bought an awful lot of “hunny”.

Now, let’s bounce!
