A new trailer has landed for Disney’s live action take on Mulan, which we’ll finally get to see in September.
Originally scheduled to hit cinemas earlier this year, we all know what happened to delay this – and many other – movies from release.
The tale is based on Northern Dynasties Chinese folksong The Ballad of Mulan, and tells the tale of how Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honoured warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Masquerading as a man, she harnesses her inner-strength and embraces her true potential on an epic journey that transforms her into an honoured – and respected – warrior.
The cast includes Yifei Liu as Mulan, Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li and Jet Li.
Rather than being delayed indefinitely or pushed out by up to a year like some films, Disney will initially make Mulan available via streaming, before you can buy it to own at a later date.
