Samuel L Jackson has appeared in a lot of films, and played a lot of characters. But, like anybody, he has his favourites.
He was asked to list his top five by Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show and, while the numbers got messed up, there were the predictable and the not-so-predictable.
Marvel’s Nick Fury got a gig, as did Mace Windu from Star Wars. His Quentin Tarantino threesome of Jules (Pulp Fiction), Stephen (Django Unchained) and Ordell (Jackie Brown also made the cut (just three of his six QT movie appearances).
But Jackson’s all-time favourite role? Mitch Henessey in Renny Harlin’s 1996 action flick The Long Kiss Goodnight. We didn’t see that one coming.
