It was a star-studded line-up in Hall H with the casts of Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok headlining the studio’s two big panels this year.

Always the must-see event of the Con, the presentation also included the latest on Ant-Man and the Wasp, a new Thor: Ragnarok trailer, plus footage from Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War.

We love Thor’s new look and can’t wait to see how much of director Taika Waititi’s offbeat sense of humour makes it into the movie. A new trailer was unveiled to complement this awesome new poster. And the Hulk says more than just “Smash”, although “don’t expect Shakespeare” advised Mark Ruffalo.

Cate Blanchett, who joins the MCU as villain Hela, said that “Marvel is a universe I’ve been happily dragged into because of my kids.”

Black Panther continues to look like one of the most unique Marvel offerings with its distinct blend of tribal culture and high tech, and director Ryan Coogler at the helm.

“Bringing this comic book to life means everything to me. I wanted to find a comic book with a hero that looked like me,” he said.

There was also a look at the costume for Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, as well as the latest on Ant Man and the Wasp, which has added Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne and Walton Goggins to the cast.

The one that everyone was waiting for, Avengers: Infinity War, was saved until last, with the footage screened at Disney’s D23 Expo presented to an ecstatic crowd.

Featuring the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thanos, Thor, Loki, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and the Avengers team, the MCU simply doesn’t get any bigger than this!
