Yes, Variety is reporting that Bram Stoker’s horror classic is set to come to our home screens, reimagined by the pair who brought Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Holmes kicking and screaming into the 21st century. It’s set to take the same format as Sherlock, with a short series of feature-length episodes.
Bringing the legendary blood sucker into a contemporary setting could be a masterstroke, however their plans for the character haven’t been announced.
With everything in the very early stages of development there’s no news of casting so far, although Gatiss gave voice to Dracula recently for an audio book.
